Well here we are, at just about 3 years into this crazy thing, and we’ve hit 200 Flophouse Sessions. To celebrate, we’re putting out a new session from The Teenage Prayers, who may very well be the most fun band that NYC has to offer. They’re playing at PA’s this Friday.

Atlanta’s Winston Audio usually present their tunes with a bombast reminiscent of Mudhoney mixed Crazy Horse, but today, Daniel Dewitt came in to strip it all down to a single guitar and a voice.

The Lumineers (formerly Wesley Jeremiah) consists of Brooklynites Wesley, Jeremiah, and in this instance, Jay, and they completely floored us with their ability to engage the infamously stationary Boston crowd when we saw them live. They went on to impress us further in the living room with an amazing range of songs.
