It is great to hear you in this element, it is truely a good match. This could be a handfull of tracks from a Sam Ostrow record so your influence is clear. Not sure how I feel about it yet, but this is the first reaction to a first listen... Unpolished and raw. There is a solid rhythm section which allows the rest of the band to be loose and still have it sound... well... good. There were times where it was spot on and the entire band was "in the pocket" and times where the backbone was the only thing solid (this was intentional on a couple of occasions I'm sure). That said there were moments where the incontinence was distracting. There is a quiet intelligence about the entire recording that left me confident that it would come back to where I wanted it to... if I was patient, and payed attention.
