Mean Creek was a side project of Chris and Aurora from Age Rings, but has grown to be a force to be reckoned with in its own right. Here they are from over a year ago when these songs were just peeking out from the soil. They play with The Dead Trees at O’Brien’s this Wednesday.

The Motion Sick

These guys remind me a bit of Sprites or Of Montreal – quirky tongue-in-cheek songs about love lost and the Konami Code. They’re headlining Church this Wednesday. This session was recorded back when we were in our infancy – the mini mini drumkit was in full effect and we only had a 5 channel mixing board. So cut us a break on the mix, and enjoy the tunes!
